From humble beginnings and selling Australian Tripods to where we are now, it has been quite the ride and it still continues….

1990

Universal AV Is Born

Universal AV Services is born, registered office is Bradford and selling the Australian “Universal” Tripod.

The computer projector was launched.

The first interactive whiteboard was launched.
1992

May 22nd the Video Projector was launched.
1993

Universal Expand to the North East and open a branch in Newcastle
1996

Our Sister Company, Universal Live Starts Trading

Universal AV integrate all Audio visual Solutions into the impressive Laidlaw Library at the University of Leeds

We are awarded AV Reseller/Integrator of the Year

The Company Rebrands after a Management buy out
2017

We work with Middlesbrough football club to provide audio solutions for after match conferences and interviews
2018

We achieve ISO14001
2018

We work with Silent night and help promote their product range through the use of Video walls in store
2019

The company buys a new building and initiates plans to relocate.
2019

We work with Leeds University Business School to devise a bespoke product to help provide lecture content ahead of time for students.
2020

We completed a three quarter of a million pound install at Leeds Beckett University Sports Campus a purpose, during a global pandemic

We move to horizon house

We completed the Esther Simpson Building.
