ISE2025 Round up

Technology is redefining the modern workplace and learning environments, enhancing communication, collaboration, and efficiency. Advanced audiovisual solutions continue to push the limits of what’s possible. This week, we’re heading to ISE 2025 to explore the latest innovations set to make a real impact in 2025 and get a first look at which of these innovations will be showcased at Universal AV Connex.

We had two days planned at the show and intended to pack as much as possible in, given the sheer size of the event. First up we hit hall 3 which as soon as you stepped into it was all about the scale of the screen and with the LED on display it was pretty impressive from HIK Vision to Samsung the wow of what can be achieved was evident as you couldn’t walk passed the stands for the sheer amount of people stopping to watch the show.

First stop for us was Kramer and it has to be said what a change. Gone are all the boxes, and on show were sleek, impressive solutions in conjunction with Ashton Bentley. On display were efficient and scalable AV solutions for a range of collaboration and video conferencing spaces.  First of all we sat at an immersive table where 21:9 video conferencing can be deployed, next was Kramer’s Session Manager, a software service for content management and wireless presentation. Final stop on the tour was Panta Rhei, Kramers audio visual EcoSystem platform providing a one stop shop to monitor, manage and analyse AV environments.

Next was Lightware where there was a heavy focus on VINX and Taurus Series. The Taurus Dual Screen Extended Desktop provides effortless BYOD integration with dual 4K displays.

Biamp were our next stop, with there BYOD devices, innovative desk/room/carpark booking solutions. This clever schedule software and hardware solution allows for employees to quickly book a car park space, a desk when in the office or even a meeting room, the software behind allows managers to see how often rooms/desks are used. With the saying going the most expensive office real estate are meetings rooms made even more expensive when they are sat empty.

Hik Vision were showcasing an incredible 8m wide, 8K LED display, a semi submerged outdoor LED schowcasing the IP67 rating and new high bright digital signage.

Panasonic was next on the list with LED being the focus, as the new 110 inch all in one LED display took centre stage. 110” is available from the back end of Q1 and the 137” and 165” to follow. This ready out of the box solution signifies a significant step for Panasonic withs its first step into LED and we are excited to see what is to come in the future with this.

Huddly Crew was next with its AI directed multi camera system, a solution designed to boost engagement within the meeting room, focusing in on individuals to provide a more realistic meeting experience when video conferencing.

Sony always impresses with its Crystal LED. With a strong focus again on sustainability Sony are really leading the charge with this. Digital signage also took a real focus with the actual replication from a Stella McCartney store front. The wow here though was when we went to the Sony breakout room and got to experience the Spatial Reality Display a 27” display for precision special images for and immersive and intuitive 3D experience.  We are also hoping we will have a UK first of this at the Universal AV Connex event.

Q- Sys was the final stop of the day and they provided an interactive tour, demonstrating the full capabilities of the solution with a little fun thrown in. Q-SYS VisionSuite leverages multimodal AI with smart audio and video, ensuring every speaker is seen and heard clearly. This enhances engagement and empowers teams, no matter where they are.

Day 2…

And we were raring to go again, coffee in hand, and Hall 2 was the target and Screenbeam were up first.

The demand for flexible hybrid meeting solutions is on the rise, enabling seamless connectivity between remote and in-person participants across various video conferencing platforms. The seamless ScreenBeam Conference experience adds wireless connectivity to room cameras, microphones, and speakers with support for all major video conferencing services. Powering this versatility is the ScreenBeam 1100 Plus—the industry’s most adaptable turnkey collaboration platform.

We couldn’t help but notice the Avocor stand who were located directly opposite Screenbeam with their Anti Reflective Glare AUO Display. Wow – this truly gave the impression of art and we could see multiple locations where this could be used.

DTEN showcased their full solution from virtuak check in at reception to being able to book a desk at the same time. The DTEN D7X pitched as the ultimate all-in-one solution for the future of video collaboration and the DTEN Bar an Optimized Solution for Hybrid Work with Built-in Zoom Rooms or Microsoft Teams Software.

The Logitech Rally Board caught our attention on our way to our next appointment as we saw the board switch seamlessly from having the camera positioned at the top of the screen to the underneath. The solutions simplifies video conferencing with an easy to deploy, all in one collaboration device, that combines powerful audio and video with a 65” touch display.

X2O was next and One Room – Linked Spaces.  This extends a traditional learning environment through enabling a transition between a teaching room and practical training area.  The session may start as a traditional lecture and then the academic/tutor has the ability to put online participants into room to carryout smaller tasks and group working whilst being able to dip in and out, share what they are doing with others etc. This really is a fabulous solution for training and learning.

Jabra was our last Hall stop for the day where Jabra has unveiled the Panacast 40 VBS, launching in June, to bridge the gap in AV-equipped small meeting spaces. Designed for booths and huddle rooms, its 180-degree field of view captures everyone, even from just 40 cm away. A six-microphone array ensures clear audio, while the dual-lens system delivers sharp visuals. Built-in Microsoft Teams and Zoom support make it ideal for hybrid work.

Onto see Clevertouch now in a hotel down the road – a popular theme this year for many exhibitors. We were walked through the full product range from totums to the UX Pro Edge – A complete all round UC meeting room set up in just one panel.

It has been a full on 2 days at ISE, LED was a feature again and with the price points becoming lower and lower a much more affordable alternative to projection in large spaces. AI in meeting room set ups is allowing for meeting room video conferencing to be more engaging, and collaborative which will shape how these meetings are held.

Now to showcase all of this at our event in March, albeit on a slightly smaller scale. Still opportunity to book now.
